William Reese Todd, a 679, born 1836, in Ohio, while his parents were en route from Pennsylvania to Indiana. He married Martha Bear, 11/29/1860, at Burnettsville, Ind. He died 11/23/1972 and is buried at Battle Ground, Indiana. He was a Baptist minister, carpenter and school teacher; but his principal calling was teaching. He and his wife spent all their married life in or near Battle Ground. There were six children, of whom two died in infancy. A son Wilson Reese Todd, was born at Battle Ground and educated there and in Lafayette. Wilson Reesse Todd, a6794, was a professional actor and in later life worked for the Federal Bur ofInvestigation. Wilson Reese had two children, Wallace and Demetra. Nothing more is known of them; but it is known that if there remains any decendants of William Reese Todd, A679, they would have to be from these two children of Wilson Reese Todd (properly A5759, though the numberA6794 has been assigned to him in the 1954 genealogy.)
