Mrs. Ladner was a native and lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis. She was a Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hamilton Hildebert and Hortense Eber Morel; and two brothers, Hamilton H. Morel Jr., and Edward C. Morel.
Survivors include a son, Louie R. Simolke Jr. of Bay St. Louis; two daughters, Patricia A. Bonney of Pass Christian, and Laura D. Bernos of Bay St. Louis; a brother, Rudolph R. Morel of New Orleans; three sisters, Lucille M. Luke and Marjorie Morreale, both of Bay St. Louis, and Violet L. Dedeaux of Pass Christian; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis where friends may call one hour before service time. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery in New Orleans.
