FORT BLACKMORE, Va. - Clarence Howard Baker, 76, Route 2, Fort Blackmore, Va., died Monday (Feb. 3, 1992) at Ridgecrest Manor Nursing Home, Duffield, Va.

Born in Scott County, Va., he was a farmer and attended Collins Chapel Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary 'Hill Baker; three brothers, Mort, Jim and Hobert Baker; three sisters, Clara Bishop, Ellen Carter and Lucille Baker; and one grandson, Scott Baker.

Surviving are his wife, Stella Lane Baker, Fort Blackmore, Va.; three daughters, Deanna Parrott, Kingsport, Shelma Baker and Glenda Arnold, both of Fort Blackmore, Va.; two sons, Darrell Baker and Terry Baker, both of Fort Blackmore, Va.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; one brother, Henry T. Baker, Fort Blackmore, Va.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gate City Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of Darrell Baker.

Services wi II be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Jessee Jones and the Rev. Walker Darnell officiating.

Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in the Dingus-Hall Cemetery, Fort Blackmore, Va.
