MILO – Franklin C. Colson, 66, husband of Juanita (McKinley) Colson, died March 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born Sept. 9, 1945, in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, son of Lorenzo L. and Laura (Bolstridge) Colson.
A U.S. Army veteran, Franklin had worked for the highway department for the town of Milo for 39 years. He was a member of J.P. Chaisson American Legion Post No. 41, Milo.
Franklin is survived by his wife, Juanita, of Milo; two daughters, Debra Smith of Michigan and Tammy Ricciardelli of Milo; a stepdaughter, Billie-Jo Dugans of Brownville Junction; a brother, Grover Lloyd of Fryeburg; a sister, Barbara McCarel of Indiana; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Looney.
Graveside memorial services will be held in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. (Bangor Daily News posted 3/4/2012)
