Obituary of Mrs. Zaddie Emory
Mrs. Zaddie A. Emory, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Branstetter was born on May 30, 1883 and departed this life on November 29, 1959 at the age of 76 years, 6 months and nine days.
She was united in marriage to Henry E. Emory on December 3, 1905. To this union were born 3 sons who survive her: Stillman H. Emory of Hobart, Indiana, Albert E. Emory of Gary, Indiana and Charles H. Emory of St. James. She is also survived by five granddaughters, two great grandsons; five brothers, D. S. Branstetter, J. C. Branstetter, T. M. Branstetter all of St. James; Morris Branstetter of Afton, Mo; William Branstetter of Ozark, Ark. and one sister Mrs. Granville Sewell of St. Louis.
Mr. Emory preceded his wife in death on September 14, 1948.
Mrs. Emory converted early in life and faithfully served her Master and her Church through the years. For more than 50 years she was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge. She had resided in this community all of her life and for the past 50 years had lived on the farm now operated by her son, Charles H. Emory.
The funeral service was conducted at the First Church of God with Rev. J. D. Thomason officiating. Arrangements were in charge of the Jesse Gahr Funeral Directors.
