Obit: "Harry T. Abbey was born in Norwich Township. Shortly after his marriage he purchased a house on Mill Street in Smethport. Later he purchased a farm on the Brooklyn side of the river; a few years before his death, he went to live with his son, Orrin, who was on the B.C. Gallup farm about four miles on the river road to Turtle Point. He died at 76, survived by his second wife and by three sons and one daughter he had with his first wife."
