STATESBORO -- Gladys Robbins Pye, 77, died Dec. 15 at Statesboro Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was a native of Bulloch County and lived in Chatham County from 1952-1997 before returning to Statesboro. She retired as a school bus driver for the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education and was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Joseph Melvin Pye Jr. of Register and Mikeal Pye of Savannah; a daughter, Teri Ann Harralson of Savannah; three sisters, Vertie Lee Allen of Statesboro, Alma Goodman and Joann Tucker, both of Register; a brother, Floyd Robbins of Garden City; six grandchildren, a great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. today at Joiner-Shepard Funeral Home in Statesboro.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at Joiner-Shepard Funeral Home.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.
