Mrs. Alma Robbins Goodwyn, age 92, died on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. The Bulloch County native was a graduate of Marvin Pittman High School.

She lived in Miami, Florida for most of her life and met her late husband James T. Goodwyn while living there. She retired from an awning company as an assembly technician after 20 years of service. She moved back to Bulloch County in 1993, following the death of her husband. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She was a sweet and caring person and would spend five days a week visiting and caring for residents of local nursing homes. Mrs. Goodwyn also enjoyed her time spent at the LOA Fitness for Women Health Club.

Surviving is a sister JoAnn Robbins Tucker of Register, GA and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Eason officiating.

Interment will be on Monday in Miami Memorial Park in Miami, FL.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, 1172 Nevils-Denmark Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.
