John E. Wangen, Jr. 75, 3332 Kaycee Dr., died Sunday at Luther Hospital.
He was born in Eau Claire and married Marjorie Lindholm Aug 18, 1951, in Waukegan, IL. He was a machinist at White Machine and Gould until retiring in 1979. He was recording secretary of his union local for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debra Young, Susan Curry, both of Eau Claire; two sons, Douglas A of Menomonie, Allen of Eau Claire; two sisters, Beatrice Bleske of Chetek, Florence Mattson of Eau Claire; two brothers, Carl Wangen of Chetek, Paul Wangen of Eau Claire; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home, where a prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
