He served in WWII as a B-17 Flight Engineer in the USAF. He died at age 86 in his home. He was an active California State Assemblyman for 14 years, starting 1976; then represented the Assembly to the Western States Forestry Legislature Task Force, & was a member of the Wildlife Conservation Board. He is survived by his sons: Fredric(Camille), William (Marie) Waters; stepsons: Jonathan King, Timothy King(Sharon); 16 grandchildren, 20 gr-grandchildren, 1 gr-grandchild. Preceded in death by his son's mother: Dortha L. Waters; son, Michael Waters, & wife Dona L. Waters.
Celebration of his Life: Mar 10, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Plymouth Fairgrounds; Interment at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Amador City, CA.
