BIRMINGHAM-Meda M. Giberson, 90, of Birmingham died Wednesday, December 12, 1994 at her home.
The service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Burch-Raymond Funeral home in Birmingham with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Glasgow Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to Birmingham Neigborhood Watch and Birmingham First Responders.

Mrs Giberson was born December 24, 1904 in Jefferson County the daughter of Louis Clyde and Velma Watson Carter. She grew up in the Glasgow community and attended Grant School near Glasgow. On December 22, 1926 she married Glen Giberson at the First Christian Church parsonage in Fairfield. He died February 17, 1992. She lived in the Glasgown community until they moved to Birmingham in 1964. She worked in the kitchen at Jefferson County Hospital and later at the wire division of Universal Producing in Fairfield until retiring in 1970. She was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church and Glasgow Dorcas Group.
Surviving are two sons, Bob of Stockport, John of Mount Pleasant a daughter, Dorthy Humphrey of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. A sister, Ethel Heisel, and an infant brother preceded her in death
