SHERBROOKE - Myrtle Isabella Bews, 82, of Sherbrooke, Guysborough County,
died Friday, Jan. 28 1994 in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Sherbrooke,
she was a daughter of the late Robert and Carrie (McDaniel) Scott.
She was a member of St. John's United Church, Sherbrooke.
She was a member of the Florence Fraser Order of the Eastern Star.
She had been an outstanding badminton player in her younger years.
She is survived by two grandsons, David and William MacIntosh,
both of Little River, Cumberland County;
a son-in-law, Edward MacIntosh;
a brother, Harold, Scott, Sherbrooke;
a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, a daughter, Carolyn;
two brothers, Alfred, Maurice;
three sisters, Elva O'Neil, Irene Filian, Hilda Turner.
Cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's United Church.
Interment will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater.
