1884 - 1943
Elizabeth married Elias William (E.W.) Crane February 14, 1902 in Sevier Utah. After he died with three children to support and having been a practical nurse in Eureka, Salina and Provo she opened and operated the 17-bed Crane Maternity Home in Provo. The first birth at 382 South University Ave was on March 17, 1926. Dr. L.L. Cullimore delivered many of the more than 2,000 babies before 'Ma' Crane closed in June 1939 when Utah Valley Hospital opened and just after marring Harry Gamber. She died four years later survived by a son and two daughters.
