CHARLES WILLIAM NUTT, JR.
Formerly of Oswego – Charles William Nutt, Jr., 84, passed away on May 2, 1994 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1910 in Deschmidt, South Dakota.
He was united in marriage to Geraldine K. Clements on April 24, 1935 in Crown Point, Indiana. He had been a manager for Stevens-Adamson, now referred to as Borg-Warner for 34 years. He was a member of Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church, an elder at Oswego Presbyterian Church and was on the Oswego School Board.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Richard Nutt of Peoria and Robert Dean Nutt of Urbana; one grandson, David Nutt; one granddaughter, Karen Nutt; three sisters, Mabel Saathoff of Florida, Edna Moylan of Joliet and Helen Lowe of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Nutt, Sr. and Bertha (Meister) Nutt, Sr.; his wife; one brother and two sisters.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 1994 at 2 pm at Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Fred Taylor will officiate. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Association or Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements were handled by the Kirby & Family Funeral Directors in Mountain Hope, Arkansas.
NOTE: Daughter, Sandra Nutt omitted from obit died in an auto accident ca. 1952.
