Lewis was known by and used the name LEWIS GRIGSBY, as evidenced in Loudoun County, VA, probate records of Lewis' wife Hannah Grigsby, order books, minute books, deeds and tax records, and Muskingum County, OH, deeds, census records, city elections, and burial records.
