Nell Bennett Shotts, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born September 12, 1919 to the late Calloway Bennett and the late Roxie Evans Bennett in Smithville. She was the oldest member of New Salem Methodist Church. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shotts, Son, Kenneth Melvin Shotts, Grandson, Justin Shotts, her parents, five Brothers, Trennon Bennett, Trannie Bennett, R.C. Bennett, Luther Bennett, Paul Bennett, Sister, Syble Bennett.
