Mrs. Elmina Dean, wife of John C. Dean, died at Ickesburg on the 13th inst, of a complication of diseases beginning with an attack of grip about two years ago. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Catharine Orris, and was born near Ickesburg a little over 69 years ago. She was a sister of Captain D. C. Orris and Mrs. W. A. Boden, of Ickesburg; Prof. S. Stanhope Orris, professor of Greek in Princeton college; Dr. H. O. Orris, of this place, Mrs. Al Rouse, of Culpepper, Virginia. The funeral was held in the Ickesburg Reformed church, of which she was a member, last Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock, her former pastor, Rev. S. L. Messenger, officiating. Interment was made at the Buffalo Mills cemetery, west of Ickesburg.
