Mrs. Lucille Germany, 55, of Raymond, died at a local Hospital Wednesday morning [September 27, 1972] after a lengthy illness. Born in Leake County on April 29, 1917, she was a daughter of the late James Monroe and Myrtle V. Peeples Tedder. She was a Baptist and a former long-time resident of Yazoo County before moving to Raymond. Her husband, Watson Germany, died in 1961. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dawson, Miss Annette Germany, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Jane Fuhrer of Lincoln NE; three sisters, Mrs. Lorene Hearn, Mrs. Audrey Parker, both of Houston TX, and Mrs. Clyde M. Hancock of Raymond; five brothers, John W. Tedder of Tallulah LA, Jesse Tedder, Jimmy Tedder, Lamar Tedder, all of Vicksburg, and Archie Tedder of Houston TX; and 12 grandchildren. Burial in Short Creek Cemetery. Baldwin Funeral Home. The Clarion-Ledger (Jackson MS), Thursday, September 28, 1972.
