REID - Mary C., 75, of Shepherdsville, KY, was born December 7, 1935 to the late John & Mary Meiners Braun and returned to her Heavenly Father April 29, 2011. Mrs. Reid was the owner and operator of the Shepherdsville Country Music Show and a member of Saint Luke Catholic Church. Among those who preceded her in death include her parents; husband, Phillip C. Reid Sr.; son, Lawrence Reid; sisters, Laverne Calvert, Ruth Fugit and Catherine Meade Mondun; brother, John Braun. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Loretta McCluskey (Greg), Kathy Dobson (Kenny), Phillip C. Reid Jr. (Kathy), John W. Reid (Jeanne), Dennis E. Reid, Mark T. Reid (Terry); daughter in-law, Margie Reid; sister, Doris Gast; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Lane, with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).
