First wife of Oltmann Renke was Taalkea (Kate) Roelfe Junker. Their son Renke Oltman was b. 12 May 1859 and d. 3 Oct 1859. She died 20 Sept 1859. His brother was Leenert Ludwig Leenerts. Oltmann Renke was one of the 27 charter members of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Golden, Illinois, in 1875. He immigrated from Oltmannsfehn, Germany and arrived in Quincy, IL 25 Nov. 1858. His father, sisters, and brothers moved to a farm near La Prairie, IL.
He married Taalkea Roelfe Junker 12 Sept 1858. She died in 1859. He married Hilka Gronewold 9 June 1861. She died in 1880. He married Helena Daniels 26 Nov 1882. She died in 1918.
