Kentucky New Era Obit posted 27 Dec 1982 reads as follows:

Allene Larkins Cunningham, 86, Cadiz, died at 2am today at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Trigg County, after a long illness.

Services will be at 1pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with burial in Wall Cemetery, Trigg County. Visitation will be after 4pm today.

A native of Trigg County, she was born February 14, 1896, the daughter of Frank and Jennie Haydon Larkins. She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, Trigg County, and was a retired psychiatric aide at Western State Hospital.

Her husband J. Hopper Cunningham died in 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Carl of Gracey and James R. Turner of Philidelphia, Pa.; and one daughter Eliza Haydon Stewart, Cerulean. Three sisters, Mrs. Howell Miller, Cadiz, Sarah Frances Rascoe, Cerulean and Mrs. Olen Flora, Kingsport, TN. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
