Dr. Ben Klaumann specializes in internal medicine and allergies. He was president of the Los Angeles Allergy Society, and has served on the attending staff of U.C.L.A. Medical School in Internal Medicine and later in Allergy for seventeen years. He was Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at U.C.L.A. In addition, he has been the official medical doctor for seventeen years of Grand Bethel of Job's Daughters. On June 4, 1970, Ben retired as a full colonel from the U. S. Army with a total of thirty-three years in the Reserve. Six of those years were in active service, with three years in the South Pacific.
Mildred and Ben have had many wonderful trips including trips to Hawaii, the Orient, the Middle East, and Europe. They were privileged to see the Oberammergau Passion Play on their trip to Austria.

After serving in World War II, Dr. Ben Klaumann settled with his wife in Los Angeles County and started a family. Ben was granted a California Medical License on January 12, 1946, and eventually set up practice at 10719 Riverside Drive in North Hollywood. They had several residences in North Hollywood, although in the early fifties they lived in Anaheim. They had two daughters, Bennie Sue and Rita Jo.
