Many Attend Kummer Rites

Mrs. Bertha Kummer, 75 Park City, died in a Salt Lake City hospital Wednesday of coronary thrombosis.

Mrs. Kummer was born May 9, 1883 in Midway, Wasatch County, to Christian and Amelia Sulser Burgener. She married Frederick Kummer November 22, 1899 at Heber. He died January 14, 1933.

Surviving are sons, Clifford, American Fork, Ralph, Salt Lake City, Gail, Park City, daughter, Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) Wiseman, Kearns, 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.

Highly Respected Resident

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 pm from the olpin Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Bishop David Loertscher of the Park City Ward.

Speakers were Mr. Joseph Olpin and Mr. Glenn Kummer. Prayers were offered by LaMar Kummer and William Richardson,. Music was furnished by Grant Peel, Mrs. Marge Boyle and Maurine Laertacher, Mrs. Fern Talbot, accompanist. Burial in Midway Cemetery.

Mrs. Kummer was one of Park City's oldest and most highly respected residents, having made her home in Park City for the past 60 years.

An active member of Park City Ward and Relief Society.

Her husband preceeded her in death many years ago and she raised her family and educated them in Park City.

Sincere sympathy is extended to members of her family in their loss.
