Mrs. A. Burgener Dies

At her home at Midway, Wednesday of this week, Mrs. Amelia Sulser Burgener passed away from infirmities incident to old age. Deceased was the wife fo Mr. Christian Burgener, a pioneer of Wasatch County.

Mrs. Burgener was born in Monticello, New York, on September 9, 1859. She came to Utah when three years old, spending the greater portion of her life in Wasatch county. For ten years (from 1919 to 1923) Mr. and Mrs. Burgener made Park City their home, where [the] deceased was well known and was held in high esteem by scores of friends, who will regret to hear of her passing on.

Mr. and Mrs. Burgener were the parents of thirteen children-eight of whom with the father survive. the survivers are: Ernest and Jake Burgener and Mrs. LaVerne Thorpe of Midway; Mrs. Bertha Kummer, Mrs. Violet Prescott and Arthur Burgener of Park city; Maynard Burgener, of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Merle Lenzi of Butte, Montana. One sister survives, Mrs. Lizzie McCarol of Vernal, Utah.

Also fifty-nine grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services...LDS chapel.... Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
