Ruth earned her Registered Nursing Certificate from Jackson Community College in 1954 and was married to Dale Crouch Feb 8, 1958. She was a loving and devoted mother, who never missed the many sporting and school events of her eleven children. She and her late husband owned and operated DaRue Dairy Farm for many years and she worked for 30 years at Designs by Judy Flower Shop. She served several terms as a member of the Grass Lake School Board, volunteered as a 4-H leader and was a longtime member of the Michigan Farm Bureau, the Michigan Milk Producer's Association, and Christ Lutheran Church in Michigan Center.
