Beatrice "Bea" Traigle Robichaux, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today, and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Pierre McKinley "Mickey" Robichaux and wife, Mary Hick; two daughters, Elizabeth "Bunny Lady" Chiasson and husband, Edward Sr., and Louise Marie Chauvin and husband, Roland; two sisters, Dolia T. Blanchard and Lois Adams; and grandchildren and spouses, Kim Landry, Dean and Tina Landry, Kathleen and Todd Schutt, Janine C. Benoit, and John and Jennifer Chauvin; and three great-grandchildren, Tabitha Stein, Dallas Landry and Jacob Chauvin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley "Mack" Robichaux; her parents, Louis Dom and Sedonia Naquin Traigle; one daughter, Mary Ann Robichaux; one brother, Sidney Traigle, four sisters, Victoria T. Richard, Elise T. Delaune, Lillian T. Richard and Bernice T. Robichaux; and one granddaughter, Sandra Anne Robichaux.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her grandchildren and playing bingo with her friends at IHS nursing home.
She was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux.
