She is survived by her loving daughter Nell, her brother Jack Carter and his wife Diane, sister-in-law Pat, all of California, and many nieces and nephews. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her brother Hugh Carter and her sister Betty Carter Wallie.

Jo Ann will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her encouragement of others, her positive attitude and her bright smile. Nell thanks Rochelle Stevenson and Jackie Montgomery for their devoted care of her mother.
