"Bernadine Klemme Ackmann, 84, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away September 27, 2014. She was born in Hartsburg, Missouri on February 2, 1930, to the late Henry H. and Viola Louise (Meyer) Klemme.


On August 15, 1948, she married Harry 'Bud' Frederick Ackmann Jr., and he preceded her in death. Bernadine was a physician assistant in neurology for 16 years. She was a longtime member of Wilkes Boulevard United Methodist Church and an avid Mizzou Tigers football fan.


Bernadine is survived by her son-in-law, Jeff Robertson, of Columbia; sister-in-law, Martha Klemme, of Columbia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry; her daughter, Sheila Robertson; two brothers, Glenn and Stan Klemme; sister-in-law, Allene Klemme; and her parents.


There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Monday, September 29, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral ceremonies will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, also at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.


Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association."
