Ms. Hines was a longtime resident of Williamsburg and a retired bookkeeper for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She had previously worked at Nick's Seafood Restaurant in Yorktown for a number of years.
She is survived by two sons, John Randolph Begley, and his wife, Cherry, of Williamsburg, and Jimmy Gordon Begley, and his wife, Polly, of Suffolk; sister, Jimmy Lewis Ramsay of Roanoke; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen T. Wiley officiating. The family will receive friends at Williamsburg Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening.
