John "Eddie" Asbery, 47, died Monday [September 26, 1994] at his home. He was a native of Garrard County, a self employed construction worker and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors: his wife, Connie Wells Asbery; a son, Charles Asbery; two daughters, Kimberly Holland and Catrina Asbery; his father, Charles Asbery of Paoli; his mother, Lillie Reed of Burgin, KY; three brothers, J.R. Asbery of Pikeville, TN, Bill Asbery of Mitchell and Hubert Asbery of Bedford; a sister, Evelyn Lowry of Burgin; a grandmother, Bertha Wilson of Paoli and two grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Kemple-Dillman-Ellis Funeral Home, Paoli. Burial: Mount Gilead Cemetery. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday.
