Dorothy Couch Longino, 96, of Magnolia, AR died Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Dudneywood Independent Living Center in Magnolia. Dorothy was born on May 28, 1919 and was a lifelong resident of Magnolia. She was a longtime faithful member of the First United Methodist Church. She served on the Magnolia City Cemetery Association and was a lifelong contributor to her church and to many of Magnolia community organizations. She is preceded in death by her parents Frederic Kelso and Nell (Wallace) Couch; husband Hugh E. Longino; and three brothers Kelso Couch, Minor Couch, and Fred Couch. Dorothy is survived by her children Ellen Longino Smith and husband Robert of Dallas, TX, Fred Longino and wife Marinda of Hot Springs Village, AR; grandsons Kevin Smith and wife Ann and Dean Smith both of Dallas, TX; great grandsons Hugh Smith and Noah Smith both of Dallas, TX; nephew Luthur A. Longino of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces Sandra Couch of Dallas, TX, Cathy Couch and husband John of Little Rock, AR; lifelong friend Bobbie Ruth Webb of Magnolia, AR; and a host of extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 27th at the Magnolia City Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kelso officiating and assisted by Rev. Raymond Cammack under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Bonnie Riggins VonHollen and staff at Dudneywood for their care and support they gave to Dorothy and family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 320 West Main St., Magnolia, AR 71753 or to SAU Foundation, P.O. Box 9174, Magnolia, AR 71754.
