Mrs. Gregory, widow of W.W. "Dick" Gregory, Sr., died Wednesday, March 2 at Kershaw Health, Camden. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Steve Ghent, Sr. and Daisy McManus Ghent. Mrs. Gregory had retired from the Lancaster County School District and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Woody Gregory; grandson Joshua W Gregory; and great granddaughter, Ella Kate Gregory.

Lancaster, SC July 28 - In a simple ceremony Sunday morning July 22, at 9 o’clock, at the home of the bride’s parents, Miss Roberta Ghent, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.G. Ghent, was married to Woodrow W. Gregory, son of Mrs. T.J. Gregory and the late Mr. Gregory of Kershaw.
The bridal couple, who were unattended, spoke their vows to the Rev. J.F. Burriss, pastor of the First Baptist church.
Mrs. Gregory was a graduate from Lancaster High School and attended Winthrop College. Mr. Gregory is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and is now employed as manager of Burns Chevrolet company in Kershaw, where the young couple will make their home after their wedding trip.
