She was the daughter of Lugretta and Wallace Depew and raised in the Scranton, PA area. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Dick whom she married in 1956. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Berg and granddaughter Cally Berg.
Jeanne obtained her R.N. certificate in PA and worked as a visiting nurse in Scranton. Later in life she joined the Visiting Nurse Association of Elizabeth, NJ eventually becoming a supervisor.
She was active in the community of Westfield, NJ where she was a Girl Scout leader and was active in the schools. She also chaired the board of the YWCA and supported the Westfield Neighborhood Council.
