Alex McLachlan, 90, of Evart, Michigan died February 18, 1987 at Lakeview Lutheran Manor, Cadillac.
He was born December 23, 1896 to Archie and Margaret (McCallum) McLachlan in Chippewa Twp., Mecosta County. He was married to Hazel Brigham, January 27, 1937. She preceded him in death March of 1983. Mr. McLachlan was a farmer until 1984. He had been the Chippewa Township Clerk and Chippewa
Township Justice of Peace for many years.
Mr. McLachlan is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held February 21, 1987 from the Corey Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Litchfield officiating. Burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
