Paul B. Strom, 87, Sarasota, formerly of Chicago and Oakton, Va., died July 16, 2007.
Survivors include his wife, Polly; a son, Jerry of Sarasota. Also, a daughter-in-law, Sandra, and grandsons Jason of Sarasota and PJ of Naples; and seven great-grandchildren.
A great guy at home with our Lord.
Born in Elgin, Neb., Paul was a high school standout in football and basketball. Attended University of Nebraska, interrupted by WWII where he served in the Army.
A CPA, Paul started with Aetna in sales and ultimately owned an insurance agency in Vienna, Va., which he sold and retired to Florida in 1983.
A golfer and tennis player, Paul also was an elder at Pine Shores Church.
