Joe died before the 1910 census that was taken on 01 May 1910 when Maria is listed as a widow. Domie, their youngest child is 4, born 12 May 1906 so Joe could have died any time between about Aug 1905 and 30 Apr 1910.
Although the exact location of his gravesite is not known at this time, it is believed that he was one of the Firebaugh folks to be buried in the Las Juntas Cemetery, then possibly one of those relocated to the Firebaugh Cemetery in the mid 1940's.
