John L. Bright, 101, [94] believed to have been Lynn's oldest resident, died yesterday, six months [years] after his brother, James died in Boston at the age of 110 [d. 7 Dec 1940, age 91 ]. His home was at 654 Boston Street. He was the grandfather of Speaker Frederick B. Willis of the house.He was active until six months ago. His formal retirement as a building contractor came ten years ago when he was 91 [84]. He was a native of [Washington co.,] Wisconsin. He leaves two sons, Forest of Boston and Halbert Bright of Watertown; four daughters, Mrs. Bess Parkins of Watertown, Mrs. Anna Kelly of Winchester, N. H., Mrs Clara Willis of Baugus; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
