Mary King was the last of the three children of Enos B. and Jane (McClain) King. born in Pennsylvania. The next child, Martha, was born in October of 1833 in Ohio. Her sister, Sarah Ann, (b. 1829) was the oldest of all the children; she died in August of 1832 she is buried in Holmes County, OH. Therefore, we can be pretty certain that the Enos B. King family made the trip from near Jones Mill in Donegal Township, Westmoreland County, PA to Holmes County, Ohio between May of 1831 and August of 1832. The tale goes that Enos B. emigrated to Ohio to be "near a cousin" whom we assume to be George W. King, son of David King and Sophia (Ginder) King.
