"In the spring of 1822 a two horse wagon brought west the King family- father, mother and seven children. They settled in Sugar Creek Township near Wilmot on leased land." (source pg 960 "The History of Stark County" ed. Wm Henry Perrin) They had come from Somerset County, Pennsylvania; George is one of the 7 children.
