August Niese
LEIPSIC, Nov. 8 - Final rites for August Niese, 59, of one and one-half miles west of Leipsic, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic church. He died at 8 p.m. Saturday in St. Rita's hospital, Lima. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.
The Rev. H. A. Bushkuhl will officiate at services. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body has been removed from the Fuller funeral home, Leipsic, to the residence.
Born June 12, 1889 near Leipsic, Mr. Niese was a lifelong resident of Putnam-co. A farmer, he was a member of St Mary's Catholic church, the Holy Name society of the parish, and the Modern Woodmen of America. In 1915, he married Martha Goedde, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Aloysius and Andrew, both of Leipsic; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Beckman, Ottawa, and Mrs. Richard Knott, Columbus Grove; a sister, Mrs. Ben Schumacher, Leipsic; a brother, Jerome, Leipsic; and four grandchildren.
