Mr. Leo A. Bohl, Sr., 77, of Devine, Texas, passed away in hospital in San Antonio on Thursday, August 6, 1970. Mr. Bohl, born September 29, 1892, was the son of Louisa Jungmann Bohl and Eugene Leo Bohl. He was a retired farmer-rancher, and a life-long resident of the Devine area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Keller Bohl. Survivors include one daughter, Geraldine Bohl Arnold; two sons, Leo A. Bohl, Jr., and Francis J. Bohl, all of Devine; one sister, Mary Bohl FitzSimon of Castroville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited Friday evening, August 7, in the chapel of Hurley Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated Saturday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
