R&B/Soul Musician. A native of Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Hollywood actress Lillian Randolph. As a recording artist her achievements included the release of her 1989 song, 'I Got A Feeling,' on the UK Nightmare Label, and is considered a Motown classic, she toured with musician Marvin Gaye when his singing partner Tammi Terrell took ill during the 1960s, and in 1964, she replaced singer Zola Taylor in 'The Platters' recording group. In 1967 she also played the role of 'Dorothy' in the film, "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner," which also starred Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracy, and Katharine Hepburn. She also married Eddie Singleton, who had been previously married to Motown founder Berry Gordy's second wife. They opened a production company together, and retired. Randolph passed away in South Africa when she was 60 years old.
