Wanda Baxter, 71, of Batesville died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, in a Little Rock hospital.
Born June 5, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, she was the daughter of Byron and Annie Ida Lunsford Morgan. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Kerry Jones of Violet Hill and Byron Jones of Tennessee; a daughter, Denise Skinner of Texas; two sisters, Louise Hawkins of Batesville and Lura Wade of Batesville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice Baxter; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar Dowd and Silas Dowd.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville with Paul Seay officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers were Matthew Jones, Michael Jones, Trinity Smith, Jesse Jones, Steven Freeman and Steve Chism.
Honorary pallbearers were Ashley Heath Voisine, Amber Heath, Jennifer Skinner, Crystal Skinner, Christie Jones Chism and Stacey Richardson Dowd.
