Elva married Norris Bert Averett in 1921. After Norris died Elva married Andrew Giles Peterson 20 Sep 1949, when Andrew died Elva married Rulon Jasper Hill 13 Jan 1967. Rulon and Elva lived in Payson, Utah next door to his parents home near the Payson City Hospital and across the Second Ward Church across the street on 1st South until Rulon died in 1985. He was buried in the Pyson City Cemetery.. Elva lived there until her death in 1990 and is buried next to her first husband Norris Bert Averett in the Springville City Cemetery, also known as Springville Historic Cemetery
