TUPELO - Mary Florence Coggins, 89, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Cedars Health Care in Tupelo after a brief illness. She was a retired inspector for Hunter-Sadler Manufacturing. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a graduate of Unity High School. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching game shows on television.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Waters Funeral Home with Minister Joe Connell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Bethay (Sam) of Saltillo and Carolyn Adams (Roy) of Dallas, Texas; one son, Jimmy Coggins of Saltillo; sisters, Nell Barber (G.W.) and Sarah Young of the Centerville community; four grandchildren, Kim Sanders (Tim) of Baldwyn, Cindy Robinson (Dave) of Tyler, Texas, Brian Leathers (Kim) of Tupelo and Matt Adams (Marie) of Dallas; eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Chester and Sally Elliott Price; great-great-grandson, Knox Cofer; nephew, Steven Young; and brother-in-law, Billy Young.
