She was born July 13, 1926, in Attica, IN, to the late Ruphert and Lucy Hall Myers
Betty was a Secretary for the Purdue University Photographic Services for 20 years. On August 17, 1946 she married Donald Duane Parks he died in an automobile accident on January 18,1959. She then married Lloyd T. "TED" Hoffman July 2,1960 and he passed away on December 23, 1999.
Betty was a member of The Eagles #347, American Legion Auxiliary and the Hope Chapter #5 Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing poker, working crossword puzzles, and time spent with family and friends.
Surviving is her son - Robert Duane Parks wife Davida- Lafayette. Also numerous nieces and nephews
Visitation will be 9-10am February 25, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
Memorial Service 10am at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel Rev. Clarinda Crawford officiating. Inurnment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Preceded in death by a Son- Thomas Parks, three brothers and three sisters.
