RICHLAN (sic) CENTER--Harvey L. Banta, 80, died Friday (Apr. 30, 1965) in a hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Banta was a retired farmer and blacksmith and was employed for seven years by the Krouskop Feed Mill. He was a member of Park St. Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie; a son, David, Burlington; four daughters, Mrs. Gifford Pellett, Richland center; Mrs. Estin Salmon, Soldiers Grove; Mrs. Sheldon Salmon, Muscoda; and Mrs. Richard Reuter, Blue River; three brothers, John, Ardock, N.D.; Henry, Yakima, Wash.; and Sherman, Soldiers Grove; 25 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pratt funeral home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
