Born in Harbor City, CA, Jim died as a result of a vehicle accident. He worked in property management for Hal and Carma Carr.

Jim was the son of Karlee Jean Bluck-Johnson. He is survived by his mother; sister, Tracy L. Studders; two daughters, Nicole N. Leyba and Jessica Jane Doyle; his partner of thirty-two years, Suzette D. Griffiths; two granddaughters, Olivia Karlee and Jolie Ryan Leyba; and step-father, Aaron Johnson. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Courtney R. Bluck; brother, Scott C. Bluck; and grandparents.

Funeral and viewings will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East), Murray. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The viewings will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
