Ira Harman,81, of Rt. 3, Buckhannon died at 2:40 p.m. on Feb.29, 1980 at St.Joseph's Hospital.
He was born Sept.10, 1898 in Sand Run, son of the late Andrew and Rebecca Hinkle Harman.
Surviving are his wife, Madge Lewis Harman; three sons, Deward Harman of Indianapolis, Ind.; Loye Harman of Rankin, Ga. and Gary Harman of Rt. 3.
Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Carey (Augusta) Allender of Uniontown, Oh.; Avandalene Cornell of Rt.3 Mrs. Troy (Teddy) Wentz of Buckhannon, Mrs. Maynord (Luella) Hanifan of Rt. 2 and Mrs. Glenn (Dianna) Payne of West Milford.
Two sisters, Mrs. Lela Hyre of Rt. 3 and Mrs. Olene Cockerill of Orlando, Fla., and two brothers, Jay Harman of Clarksburg and Emerson Harman of Mansfield, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
One son, one sister, one brother and daughter preceded him death.
Mr. Harman was a member of the Sago Baptist Church.
Services will be held at the Poling St. Clair Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today ( March 3, 1980) with the Rev. S. E. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Camp Cemetery.
