Kier - Died, May 10, 1911, at his home on the Minor place east of Blackwell, James H. Kier, aged about 69 years. Cause of death was sclerosis or hardening of the arteries. He leaves a widow and ten children, all at home except one. The family came here from Okemah, Okla., about two years ago, and Mr. Kier was engaged in the meat business with Roy Morris for awhile on South Main street. Funeral services at the U.B. church on Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. C.E. Heisel. Burial in Blackwell cemetery.
